Logo Contest

Washington Coalition for Parole seeks a logo and tagline that will represent our organization and mission.   We invite you to enter our contest.  The logo we choose will have an immediate visual impact that identifies it with our work to restore parole to Washington State and our core values of SAFE COMMUNITIES, HOPE, and the HUMAN RIGHT to strive for rehabilitation.

This is a great opportunity for you to gain visibility for your work and to help Washington Coalition for Parole to move forward.

We will be awarding cash prizes to the three entries that we feel best represent our mission and we may choose images or text from among those three entries to use on our organization’s publications, including on our website, letterhead, brochures, and other publicly distributed materials.  These prizes are for $500, $300, and $100.

WHO: You are eligible to apply if you live in WA and are currently or formerly incarcerated – or are a family member of someone who is.

WHEN:   Entries must be received by September 30, 2015.  Winner will be announced by November 1, 2015.

WHERE:  Send your graphic, text, and release form to logo@wacoalitionforparole.org or to:

Coalition for Parole
PO Box 9971
Seattle WA, 98109

WHY:  The immediate visual impact of an effective logo and tagline will help us communicate our mission of restoring parole to Washington State and our core values of SAFE COMMUNITIES, HOPE, and the HUMAN RIGHT to strive for rehabilitation and reconciliation with the community.

HOW:   Logo must be your original work and must be accompanied by  this signed release form.  Please also send a written description linking your creation with WCFP’s mission, either in the form of a tagline or a short statement.  The logo should work well visually on letterhead and other informational materials.  Four judges and a panel from our organization will review all entries and make selections.  All selections will be considered for inclusion in an online book that will be sold to benefit our mission.
